[ BLADE & SOUL ] About Soul Shield

Purpose of Soul Shield

Piece #8 of Blackram Supply Soul Shield

Soul Shields in Blade & Soul serve same function as typical armours in other standard MMORPGs which give additional status points to a characters.

Basic Traits of Soul Shields
1. There are total 8 slots for soul shields and each slots tied to a specific number from #1 to #8 and only the piece of soul shield with that corresponding number is able to be slotted in.

ie. Piece #2 only could be slotted into slot #2 but not others.

2. Soul Shields will give extra status points or buffs when equipped pieces are belonging to same set. Set effects will come into effect when 3 / 5 / 8 pieces of the same set are equipped.

3. Salvaging some trash soul shields will yield Fusion Powder, that is essential to serve as base ingredient for Soul Shield Fusion.

4. If the character did not wear any costume, the effects and status points that given by Soul Shields will not kick in.

1. A Soul Shield could be enhanced by fusing it with other Soul Shield.

2. Soul Shield Fusion windows could be opened via 'Manage Equipment' sub-menu by clicking on Soul Shield itself.

3. By approximation, 20% - 70% (randomly) of the first secondary status point of the offered Soul Shield will be fused into the base Soul Shield.

3. Offered Soul Shield could be in any piece number.

4. Offering (offered Soul Shield) will vanished after fusion completed.

5. If an enhanced Soul Shield were fused again, it will lose its original bonus and gain the new bonus from its new offering.

Using Blackram Supply Soul Shield #8 as base and Elite Critical Soul Shield #5 as offering will yield an improvised Blackram Supply Soul Shield #8 with additional 40 pts of Critical.
